Antonio Giovinazzi at work in Abu Dhabi – Day 2, 2019 tyre testing

Abu Dhabi, 28th November 2018 - The Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team has concluded the second day of testing at Abu Dhabi, with Antonio Giovinazzi behind the wheel of the Sauber C37. Giovinazzi completed a total of 128 laps throughout the day, with a focus on tyre testing.
Similar to yesterday's programme, the runs today comprised a combination of driving on the 2019 tyre casing, including different compounds, and obtaining a reference to the 2018 tyre compound selection. A mechanical issue briefly interrupted Giovinazzi's session, however, it was quickly resolved, allowing him to get back on track promptly.
Antonio Giovinazzi delivered a good and consistent performance, and gave his feedback throughout the day, supporting the team in the preparation for the 2019 season.
